Well, I know it’s Sunday, but I thought I’d still pull on the word from Friday’s Five Minute Friedy; MORE

Have you ever wanted MORE? No matter how much you received, you still craved for MORE?

This weekend, I had an interesting experience. On the spur of the moment, I made a quick decision to attend one day at the Flordia Christian Writers Conference. Usually, I’ll attend for the entire time of the conference — Five fun-filled days.

But due to my circumstance, one day was it. How badly I wanted MORE  I could hear the Lord speaking to me, You came for a specific reason, and you accomplished it. Although it was just one day, there was so much to take in and comprehend.

 

Sometimes, less is best. I was thinking of the Keynote speaker, Liz Curtis Higgs. Even though I only got to hear one of her messages, I got so much out of it. I guess If I was able to hear all four of them, I might not have remembered everything.

 

She shared with us that when God has given you something to write, and you believe it is from Him, that as long as you do your part to get it out, He will do the rest. He will be the one to open doors– and, when He does come through, we don’t need to act crazy and surprised when something happens, He’s just doing what He said He would do.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

 

When we put our trust in Him, He will bring it through to completion. Actually, it’s not just true in writing, but in anything we face. When we trust Him, He will follow through.

 

Now if that was the only nugget I received from the conference, isn’t it worth repeating? Although I did get more, just thought I’d pass that one along to you.

 

Remember, if He’s called you to it, He’ll see you through it.
