Pen 4 The Lord

We long to hear the voice of God.

We seek to find Him in everything that we say and do.

We strive so hard to follow Him, and then to walk in His ways.

But what do we do when we find Him? When we hear Him speak? When we’ve cried out in desperation and pleaded with Him to guide us on our way and direct our path, and then right there, when we least expected it, He answers us? And not only does He answer us, but He chooses to do it in such a supernatural way that there was no denying it was Him.

 

How do we respond? Do we share our story with the world to see and hear their reaction to what He’s done, or do we press into this moment? Do we stop and take this holy moment in time and just choose not to let go? Do we embellish that moment which God has ordained just for us and  allow Him to encompass our being?

 

 

Oh the joy of finding that secret place, where we can just get alone with God. To take the time to begin a fireside chat with the One, the Only, the God of the universe, that so longs to speak to us, in such an intimate way and reveal  the secrets that lie within His heart. The things that He so longs to whisper into our ear, that will guide us and propel us in the way He wishes for us to go.

 

 

Oh beloved,  don’t waste that extra moment you have today in futile things that will in no way last forever. No, take the time and invest it in the One, the One and only One who holds your future, and your eternity, right there within His powerful and mighty hands!
