Seeds of Strength Hope & Encouragement

We never know what a day will bring.

So it was on Friday, September twenty-second for my niece.

Just like any other day, she woke up, dressed for work, grabbed her coffee, kissed her little guy goodbye and headed out the door.

How was she to know what was before her? How was she to know when she stepped on the porch of the home she was to inspect before its sale, as she inserted the key in the door, and tried to push it open, it — would literally explode in her face?

Not one of us knows what lies ahead–what will be. We only know that in His Word, we are told not to worry about tomorrow.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34

But what we do know for sure, is that as the Lord said to Joshua, He would be with him, that no matter what we go through, He will be with us too. Friday was no exception for her.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

The day was horrific for my brother and his entire family. Not knowing what they would find as they speedily made their way to the hospital. One by one they arrived to find her in critical care and unsure of her immediate condition.

As I write this, I just returned from visiting her, and after seeing her beautiful face, and hearing all the stories, yes, she needs much healing to her body–but there is no denying–She had angels about her!

Once the explosion happened, she was thrown nearly fifty feet and landed in the street. No way except for a supernatural intervention could she survive with bruises, soreness, torn ligaments, and not one single broken bone.

As I previously said, as the Lord was with Joshua, He sent His mighty angels to be with her and her colleague.

Oh yes, she does have a road of healing ahead. And, praise God she has been removed from the critical list and will be moved down from ICU soon, but I believe, and we must believe that the same God who spared her life on Friday will be with her in the healing process.

And for you my friend, I challenge you to believe the same. That the Lord thy God who sent His angels to be with her is the same who will be with you.  What are you going through today? Do you need to know that the Lord is with you?

Then call out, wait and know beyond a shadow of a doubt He will be with you and even send His angels to lead you, to guide you and to protect you in all of your ways.

May the Lord bless and keep you,

My niece put this on her facebook page this morning as I was just about to post this … Enjoy and believe today!
